課程概述

I. Objectives
The objectives of this course include
1. to lead the students to use English as a tool for acquiring knowledge and for communicating with the international community;
2. to train the students to read, write, and speak effectively;
3. to improve the students’ pronunciation and intonation;
4. to acquaint the students with the Western culture, thoughts, and ways of life;
5. to help the students form the habit of getting valid knowledge in methodologically reliable ways.

II. Requirements
The students of this class are required to
1. take this course seriously, and make enthusiastic efforts to contribute to the success of the class as a whole, as well as that of your own learning;
2. attend class regularly and punctually;
3. prepare in advance as required;
4. enthusiastically participate in group discussions;
5. hand in reports or exercises in time;
6. teach the teacher, and share experiences and knowledge with her, just in the way she treats you.
